Allegri considers Badiashile at left-back against Frosinone
With Favasuli sidelined and Olivera a doubt, the on-loan Chelsea defender could start in a position he has never played for Napoli.

Benoît Badiashile could make his first Napoli start at the Maradona, but not in his usual position. Coach Allegri is considering him at left-back in a back four rather than as a centre-back. The French defender, on loan from Chelsea, has so far played only a brief cameo against Inter at San Siro, and the switch is being forced by the shortage of options on the left.
Favasuli is out for six weeks, with a return expected in mid-to-late November. Olivera, recovering from the groin injury he picked up with Uruguay, remains a doubt for Saturday. With Spinazzola the only fit specialist left-back left at Allegri's disposal, the thinking behind shifting Badiashile out wide becomes clear.

For the Frenchman it would be a chance to break out of the fringe role he has had at Napoli so far and get into the defensive rotation. Whether the switch is a one-off for Saturday or follows him into future games remains to be seen, as Allegri waits for the left flank to clear up with returns from the treatment room.
