Conte turns down Fenerbahçe, waiting only for Premier League or Serie A
The former Napoli coach rejected the Turkish club's approach and is holding firm, having already turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia in the summer.
Antonio Conte has said no to Fenerbahçe. The coach who led Napoli to the 2024-25 Scudetto and then to second place last season with 76 points has turned down the Turkish club, despite Fenerbahçe's stature.
Not even the prospect of reuniting with Romelu Lukaku, now far from his old role as Conte's protégé, was enough to change his mind. The rejection follows an offer from Saudi Arabia that Conte had already turned down in the summer. His stance remains the same: wait for a project in the Premier League or Serie A, and nowhere else.

Conte left Napoli at the end of last season, replaced by Massimiliano Allegri from 3 July on a contract until 2029. From the outside, he is watching a team on the back of three straight defeats — to Como and Inter in Serie A, and to Arsenal in the Champions League — sitting on 3 points from 3 games, 12th in the table.
