De Bruyne scores retaken penalty after VAR rules out Højlund's miss
Referee Ermanno Feliciani ordered the penalty replayed after Frosinone goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani came off his line early, and the incident shaped the course of a 3-0 win.

Napoli were awarded a first-half penalty against Frosinone after contact in the box between Giorgio Cittadini and Rasmus Højlund. Højlund stepped up but Frosinone goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani saved his shot. The VAR room then flagged an infringement: Palmisani had taken both feet off his line before the kick was taken.
Frosinone's players surrounded referee Ermanno Feliciani demanding an explanation. His lip-read response was clear: "The keeper, the keeper moved early."

De Bruyne took the retake, sent Palmisani the wrong way, and put Napoli ahead in the 29th minute. The moment shifted the course of the game: Napoli took control from there and closed it out 3-0, with Lang adding a second goal.
With the league game out of the way, Napoli are back in action on Tuesday 13 October, away to Villarreal at 21:00 CET in the Champions League.
