Father says Tresoldi's dream is Milan, not Napoli
Napoli's scouts have tracked the Club Brugge forward for a year, but his father Emanuele, a former Atalanta full-back, says a boyhood allegiance could take him elsewhere in Serie A.

Nicolò Tresoldi, the Club Brugge forward born in 2004 and a Germany Under-21 international, remains on Napoli's radar. Napoli's scouts have tracked him for a year, well before his form in Belgium and the Champions League - where he has shown maturity and sharp finishing - put him in the spotlight.
His father Emanuele Tresoldi, a former Atalanta full-back, complicated the picture in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Will he ever play in Serie A? Maybe - his dream is to wear the Milan shirt, and he's been a fan since he was a child. He fell in love with Kakà, Inzaghi and Pato, and there was no way to change his mind. We've talked about it a lot, but Nicolò will decide what's best for him. He'll certainly choose with his heart, not for the technical opportunity."
The decision also touches the national team: after the European Under-21 Championship, the striker must choose between Italy and Germany.
