McGinn added a second from the penalty spot in the 69th minute. North Macedonia finished the game with ten men after McKenna's late red card.

It was another solid outing for Gilmour away from Napoli, where his only league goal this season remains the 23rd-minute strike in the 1-1 draw at Fiorentina, the club's last official game before the international break. Allegri's side, ninth in Serie A with 7 points from 5 matches, will have him back for the visit of Frosinone at the Maradona on Saturday 10 October.
