Højlund scores again for Denmark, this time they win
The striker converted the penalty in a 1-0 win over Wales, his third goal of this international break — the first of the three not to end in a defeat.

Rasmus Højlund scored from the penalty spot on Sunday as Denmark beat Wales 1-0, his third goal in four matches on international duty during this break. He had previously scored in a 4-2 defeat to Portugal, pulling the score to 2-2, and against Norway. Against Wales, for the first time this season, one of his goals actually produced a win.
Until Sunday the pattern had been the opposite, Napoli included. Højlund also scored in Napoli's 1-2 home defeat to Como and in the 3-2 loss at San Siro against Inter, the two defeats that weigh heaviest on Napoli's current ninth place with 7 points from 5 games. A striker who scores and a team that loses anyway — the same contradiction being discussed this week at Castel Volturno, Napoli's training ground.
