Højlund sets up Denmark's opener but UEFA credits Davies own goal

Denmark beat Wales 2-0, and once again it was Rasmus Højlund at the heart of the opening goal. Set up by Damsgaard, the Napoli forward shot at goal and the ball deflected in off Davies — but UEFA credited the goal as an own goal by the Welsh defender rather than a Højlund strike.
Gustav Isaksen, the Lazio winger, doubled Denmark's lead in the second half, having already seen a goal ruled out by VAR for offside earlier in the game. Denmark move to 3 points in their group, behind Norway and Portugal — both on 3 but with a game in hand — while Wales remain on 0.

It is the second successive international outing in which Højlund has driven his country forward without a goal credited to his own name, having scored three days earlier against Norway. At Napoli, he is still short of his best in front of goal: over the last five league matches he has touched the ball inside the box just twice, against Genoa and Inter.
