The Roma forward saw a straight red in the second half at Como and faces at least a two-match ban, ruling him out of the Maradona fixture in two weeks.

Donyell Malen was sent off with a straight red card ten minutes into the second half of Como-Roma, for a scissor tackle on Kaiki with the match at 0-0.

The ban expected to follow is at least two matches, which means Malen will definitely miss Napoli-Roma, due at the Maradona in two Sundays' time.

Napoli sit eighth on 10 points after six rounds, with Roma second on 14, four points above Napoli and two behind leaders Inter. Losing one of Gasperini's starting forwards for that game is a blow, whatever XI Allegri picks.
