The Maradona turnstiles open at 15:30 on Saturday 24 October, two and a half hours before Napoli v Roma kicks off at 18:00 CET (17:00 UK, 12:00 ET). The club is asking fans to arrive well ahead of time for security checks. Until 17:30, some entrances are for season-ticket holders only. In the Curva B (the end behind the goal), these are Gates 8, 9 and 12. In the Curva A they are Gates 24 and 25, and in the Distinti (the side stand) Gates 19 and 20. In the Tribuna (the main stand), pre-checkpoints 2 and 3 are reserved, along with Gate 1, which is also open to schools. From 17:30 every entrance is open to everyone.

Fans need valid ID and a ticket. If your ticket is loaded on a Fidelity Card (the club's supporter card), bring the seat voucher too. Passbook tickets must be shown in the phone app: screenshots and other formats are not valid. Tickets are sold only through Ticketone, online or at authorised outlets. The club says checks for fake tickets at the gates will get tougher from the next few matches. Flares and bangers are banned: they cost Napoli a €7,000 fine at Venezia.

A general demonstration against the cost of living takes place in the city on the same day, which is one more reason to get there early. The match is the second of the tests on which the club has made Allegri's future depend.
