Maradona's son presents Numero 10 stage show in Naples
Diego Armando Maradona Jr met journalist Marino Bartoletti under a Maradona mural in the Spanish Quarters (the inner-city neighbourhood packed with tributes to the former Napoli No.10) to launch the theatre piece, staged on 3 and 4 October at the Palapartenope.
Diego Armando Maradona Jr sat down with journalist Marino Bartoletti under the mural in the Spanish Quarters to present Numero 10, a stage show on his father's life staged by Coloriamo i Sogni and backed by Naples City Council. It runs on 3 and 4 October at the Palapartenope. Bartoletti wrote the script, Carolina Fanelli directs, and the cast includes Erasmo Genzini, Maurizio Casagrande, Giorgio Borghetti and Lina Sastri, with music by Ivan Granatino and Phil Mer.

Diego Jr also spoke of his father's bond with the city: "Walking through Napoli was like walking through the world. He may have gone to Dubai now and then. In Napoli he was, and always will be, king." Asked about his father's private side, he recalled "the kindness, the heart and the love he had for the people he loved, and for this wonderful city" — adding that he still visits him at night, "because it's just him and me."
