Luca Marianucci is available for Massimiliano Allegri again from Napoli's game against Frosinone on Saturday 10 October at the Maradona (20:45 CET), after returning to full training with the squad this week. The centre-back told Radio Kiss Kiss he has not played at the Maradona in a while and is "very happy to restart".

The injury came at the end of pre-season, which was the worst possible time, after a month of important work. I took it philosophically to speed up my recovery, and the support of my teammates and the fans was crucial.

On the coach, Marianucci said Allegri "keeps enthusiasm high" but is demanding on the training pitch, and pointed to gaps from the opening rounds that still need fixing. He also warned against underestimating Frosinone, calling them "strong" and a side that "did great things last season". Napoli are ninth with 7 points from 5 games, unbeaten in their last two, with Favasuli out injured and Olivera a doubt in defence.
