McTominay faces fitness test on 6 October for Frosinone return
The Scotland midfielder, who had heart ablation surgery on 8 September, needs to pass a medical check on 6 October — clear it, and he could be back on the bench on Saturday at the Maradona.

Scott McTominay's recovery reaches a decisive point on Tuesday 6 October, when doctors assess whether he is fit to return to play. The midfielder has been out since cardiac ablation surgery in England on 8 September, returned to gym work on 29 September, and has trained with the group again in recent days.
If he gets the green light, the turnaround is tight: Napoli host Frosinone at 20:45 CET on Saturday 10 October at the Maradona, just four days after the check-up. If not, his return would be pushed back to the Champions League game against Villarreal or the league trip to Venezia.
