McTominay named in Napoli squad for Frosinone
The matchday list for the 20:45 CET kick-off at the Maradona includes the Scot, who had been tipped to be rested ahead of the Champions League trip to Villarreal.
Napoli have named their squad for this evening's Serie A round six clash with Frosinone, kicking off at 20:45 CET at the Maradona: Badiashile, Beukema, Contini, De Bruyne, Di Lorenzo, Gilmour, Giovane, Højlund, Lang, Lobotka, Lucca, Marianucci, Rafa Marín, McTominay, Meret, Milinković-Savić, Pereyra, Neres, Politano, Rrahmani, Spinazzola.
The headline is McTominay's inclusion. On the eve of the game there had been talk of Allegri resting him with an eye on Tuesday's Villarreal-Napoli, handing the midfield to Gilmour and Lobotka instead. But the Scot, who passed his fitness assessment on 8 October following his 8 September heart arrhythmia surgery, is in the squad.
Favasuli, Vergara, Olivera, Buongiorno, Anguissa and Alisson Santos are all out through injury. The list also includes a first senior call-up for Pereyra, a 2008-born forward from the youth academy.
