Meret's agent opens door to new Napoli contract
Federico Pastorello says he will listen to offers for the goalkeeper, whose deal runs to June 2027, but believes Meret could yet stay.
Federico Pastorello, Alex Meret's agent, has discussed the goalkeeper's future with Sportmediaset. Meret's contract runs to June 2027.
"Will Meret, who's running down his contract, renew again with Napoli? We'll certainly be open to listening to any opportunities that come up," Pastorello said. "But if I had to bet on something, I'd say Alex is so attached to that environment that it's not out of the question he could stay, obviously if Napoli want him to."

No real renewal negotiation has started yet, and a meeting with the club remains possible before the end of the year. Meret is working his way back from injury and is considered likely to be available for Napoli-Frosinone on Saturday, the sixth round of Serie A at the Maradona.
