In the 95th minute of Serbia-Greece in the Nations League, an error by Vanja Milinković-Savić let Greek forward Anastasios Douvikas make it 1-2, turning a 1-1 draw into defeat for the hosts in Belgrade.
It was a different story in Serie A. With Alex Meret injured, the Napoli goalkeeper started last Sunday's 1-1 at Fiorentina and produced a solid display. On international duty the ending was bitter.

Serbian fans reacted on social media. "Amateur mistake," "We need a new goalkeeper," "I've never liked Milinkovic," and "Shame, Milinkovic's mistake cost us the defeat" were among the comments after the loss in Belgrade.
