Napoli close in on Qualiano training ground, Chiariello says only notary signature missing
Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis is targeting an 18-hectare plot near the Santo Stefano stadium, with prices already agreed and just the notary meeting outstanding.
Napoli's planned training ground in Qualiano has reached its final stages, according to updates relayed on RNC, with only the signatures still needed. The site identified covers 18 hectares of agricultural land in the area of the Santo Stefano stadium, a few minutes from the railway station and just under half an hour from the airport, with connections also to Afragola station.
The figures and the price per square metre are said to be already agreed, but remain confidential until the meeting with the notary, who will receive both sellers and buyers. Work could begin in stages in the new year, before Easter, with priority access given first to the first team and then to the youth sections, who would be able to reach the facility by train and a short minibus ride.

The project follows weeks in which news of the training ground had been played down, with planning checks still ongoing and no deal described as close to completion. Now the operation is said to have reached its final phase, though certainty still rests on one step: the signature from the notary.
