Napoli dribble less than any other Serie A side
Data from the opening rounds puts Napoli bottom of the one-on-one charts, level with Monza and Parma. Como lead the way with 10.4 dribbles a game.

Another number underlines the change under Allegri: Napoli complete just 4.4 dribbles a game, the lowest average in Serie A, level with Monza and Parma. Como top the list with 10.4, ahead of Roma and Fiorentina.
The reading is tactical. For Allegri, beating a man is not a priority — controlling tempo and cutting risk matters more. Even Napoli's most dribble-prone players, Alisson and Lang, have looked less free to try the individual play so far this season.

The figures land ten days after the 1-1 draw in Florence, with Napoli on 7 points from 5 games and ninth in the table: the flair has gone, but the results have not followed even with this caution. The next test comes on Saturday 10 October, when Frosinone visit the Maradona.
