Napoli eye Parma's Bernabé, but can't buy until they sell
Giovanni Manna rates the versatile Spaniard as a long-term option in midfield, possibly even as cover for Lobotka — but Napoli's squad list is locked, and Inter and Juventus are watching the same player.

Giovanni Manna has long followed Adrian Bernabé, Parma's Spanish midfielder, as a prospect for Napoli's midfield. The sporting director sees him as capable of playing as a deep-lying playmaker — an alternative or eventual successor to Lobotka — as well as in other midfield roles. Parma value him at between €20m and €25m.
Napoli's squad list is blocked, though: they cannot sign a new midfielder without first selling one, and a move for Bernabé can only happen if Lobotka or Anguissa leaves Castel Volturno (the club's training ground) in January. Inter and Juventus are also keeping tabs on him.

The winter window reopens on Saturday 2 January and closes on Tuesday 2 February. Until then, Bernabé remains just a name on Napoli's list.
