Napoli eye Udinese's Davis as Lucca's future wavers
The Napoli board have reportedly identified the Udinese forward as a January target, with Udinese valuing him at €20m — a fee Napoli see as high.
Napoli are already looking at the January window, and Davis, currently at Udinese, is one of the names on their list for the attack. Udinese have set his valuation at €20m, a figure Napoli consider high, meaning a tough negotiation lies ahead to find common ground.
The interest in Davis comes as Lorenzo Lucca's position at the club grows shakier. Signed from Udinese for €35m in summer 2025 after Antonio Conte rejected him, the striker has failed to convince Allegri either — a badly wasted counter-attack in the win over Bologna left the head coach furious. In January, Lucca could leave Napoli on loan again, as he did in the second half of last season, when he joined Nottingham Forest.
