Napoli face Avellino again in closed-doors friendly on 2 October
The second friendly against Alessandro Nesta's side comes at Castel Volturno (the training ground), aimed at giving minutes to players short of match time before Frosinone on 10 October.
Napoli will play a second friendly against Alessandro Nesta's Avellino on Friday 2 October at Castel Volturno, behind closed doors. It follows the first test at the Partenio on 26 September. The squad returns to training on Tuesday 29 September, after three days off granted by Massimiliano Allegri.
The session is aimed chiefly at players who have had less game time or are still building fitness, while Napoli wait for players away on international duty to return. It is targeted work ahead of the Frosinone game on 10 October at 20:45 CET at the Maradona, a match that needs to turn around Napoli's worst start in ten years: ninth place on 7 points from 5 games.
