Napoli fans targeted by huge fake shirt seizure in Naples
Italy's financial police arrested a man advertising counterfeit centenary shirts on TikTok, recovering over 2,300 fake items from his car and a garage.

Italy's Guardia di Finanza (financial police) launched the operation after monitoring social media, finding an Italian man promoting sales of Napoli's new centenary shirts on his TikTok profile. A check on his car led to the first seizure: 230 shirts matching those shown in his videos.
A search of his home widened the picture. In a garage attached to the house, officers recovered more than 2,100 identical items, taking the total to 2,338 counterfeit shirts. The fakes carefully reproduced sponsors, labels and the new centenary crest, with a label that, when scanned with a smartphone, redirected to Napoli's official website to appear authentic to buyers.

The man has been reported to the judicial authorities for possession for sale of counterfeit goods and handling stolen goods, while the merchandise remains seized.
