Napoli give no update on Neres doubt for Venezia
Two days before the trip to the Penzo, David Neres's name is circulating among possible absentees, with no official word yet on his condition.
David Neres is a doubt for Venezia-Napoli on Saturday at 15:00 CET at the Penzo. The club's report on Thursday's training session at Castel Volturno (the training ground) made no mention of the Brazilian, and no diagnosis or recovery time has been given.
Neres started in the front three at Villarreal on Tuesday, in the 3-1 Champions League defeat. On Friday 16 October, the eve of the game, head coach Allegri holds his press conference — the first point at which official word on Neres's availability for the league match is expected.
