Napoli join the Twinning Project's prison football scheme
Youth Sector coaches will be trained in the UK-founded programme's methods before running sessions for prisoners, the club's second social initiative in days.
Napoli have joined Twinning Project ETS, the organisation founded in the UK in 2018 that runs programmes for prisoners in partnership with professional clubs and prison systems. It is already active in several countries and with other Italian clubs. Napoli will take part through qualified coaches from the club's Youth Sector, who will receive specific training in the programme's methodology before the sessions begin.
The sessions mix theory and practice, built around team-sport principles: communication, collaboration, leadership, individual responsibility and the ability to deal with difficulties. The programme combines football coaching content with modules on personal and relational skills.

It is the second social initiative at the club in a matter of days, after the charity event involving Politano, Spinazzola and Edoardo De Laurentiis. Napoli say the move strengthens their social responsibility commitment, putting the club's expertise at the service of the community around a project that recognises football's educational role beyond the pitch.
