Napoli look at Dodò again, but Fiorentina won't sell
The Brazilian right-back is back on Napoli's list for the right flank, but the Fiorentina board has stalled the move and the file stays closed for now.

Napoli are looking at Dodò again for the right-back spot. The Brazilian full-back at Fiorentina is back on the Napoli board's list, but the move is stuck: Fiorentina are not open to selling him at the moment.
The summer window closed on 1 September and will not reopen before 2 January. Any deal for Dodò can only happen in the winter window, or it stays an open file until his Fiorentina contract runs out. Napoli face a choice: wait for the situation to shift on its own, or try to move early in January.
Giovanni Manna's club is watching without urgency. Favasuli's arrival in the summer already showed Napoli can cover the right flank with versatile players who can also play on the left, without needing to commit to an expensive deal.
Looking beyond Di Lorenzo
At Castel Volturno (the training ground), the subject is also tied to the long-term future of the right-back role beyond captain Di Lorenzo. The board is starting to think about a more structured solution for the years ahead, and Dodò remains one of the options being tracked. For now, there's no rush: Napoli are waiting for Fiorentina to soften their stance.
