Napoli Primavera draw 0-0 at Monopoli after Mané goal is ruled out
Antonio Nocerino's side are now unbeaten in five, and they got this point without the six youngsters called up to the first team.

Mané put the Napoli Primavera (the club's youth side) ahead on 29 minutes at the Vito Simone Veneziani, but the goal was ruled out for offside. It finished 0-0, and Antonio Nocerino's team took a point off D'Ermilio's Monopoli, who are still near the top of Primavera 2 (the second tier of Italy's youth league).
It was a tight, tactical game, and both defences held throughout. Napoli kept pushing until the end through Rovetini's skill on the ball and D'Angelo's composure in midfield. As the match went on, though, the pace dropped and both sides created less.

The draw makes it five matches unbeaten, and Napoli managed it without Pereyra, Baridò, Chiummariello, Melnyk, Lieto and Pugliese. Allegri has called all six up for the first team's two away games, against Juventus and Porto. Six players down, Nocerino's defence still kept a clean sheet. At the other end, the only goal of the game was disallowed.
The six will be with the first team at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday 1 November, with kick-off at 20:45 CET (19:45 UK, 14:45 ET).
