Napoli's December run: Milan and Atalanta both at 20:45

The official calendar for matchdays 12 to 19 is out, taking Napoli through Torino, Sassuolo and Lecce before the two heavyweight fixtures of December — then a January restart against Parma, Cagliari and Udinese.

The official Serie A calendar has confirmed Napoli's fixtures from the 12th to the 19th matchday. It starts on Saturday 21 November at 20:45 CET (19:45 UK, 14:45 ET) with Napoli-Torino, continues a week later, Sunday 29 November at 15:00, away to Sassuolo, and on Saturday 5 December, again at 20:45, Lecce visit the Maradona.

Then comes the heavy double. Napoli-Milan is on Sunday 13 December at 20:45, and seven days later, Sunday 20 December, the side travel to Bergamo to face Atalanta, also at 20:45. Milan and Atalanta are two of the sides the club treats as its benchmark for the level of a season, and both fall in the same month, exactly a week apart.

The league pauses for the festive period and resumes straight away on Sunday 3 January with a trip to Parma at 18:00 — the only fixture in the whole list outside the evening slot. It continues on Thursday 7 January at 20:45 at home to Cagliari, fourth in the table on 12 points, and the run closes on Monday 11 January at 20:45 away to Udinese.

Those three January fixtures fall right in the middle of the winter transfer window: it reopens on Saturday 2 January and closes on Tuesday 2 February 2027. Anyone arriving or leaving in that window could already be shaping the games against Parma, Cagliari and Udinese.

The calendar lands with Napoli ninth on 7 points after 5 matchdays, six points off the top, where Roma, Inter and Lazio sit on 13. Before December there is still Saturday 10 October, with Frosinone at the Maradona — but the newly released sequence already makes clear that after such an awkward start, the first real test of Napoli's level carries the names Milan and Atalanta.
