Napoli sell out away end for Venezia trip despite Villarreal defeat
About 1,000 Napoli supporters have snapped up the away end at the Penzo, where the club plan a pre-match tribute to Juan Jesus and Mazzocchi, who left for Venezia this summer.
The away end at the Pierluigi Penzo has sold out, taken up entirely by Fidelity Card holders. Around 1,000 Napoli fans will follow Massimiliano Allegri's side to Venezia for Saturday 17 October's 15:00 CET kick-off, despite the 3-1 defeat away to Villarreal on Tuesday.
Before kick-off, Venezia and Napoli will stage a tribute to Juan Jesus and Mazzocchi, who left Napoli for Venezia this summer. Both won the 2022-23 and 2024-25 Serie A titles and the Italian Supercoppa in Napoli colours.

That line from Corriere dello Sport sums up how the pair are still seen in Naples. Napoli arrive on the back of four defeats in their last eight matches in all competitions, and the Villarreal collapse hangs over a game the Italian press have already called "important and delicate".
