Papers split over penalty call after Napoli's 3-0 win over Frosinone
Il Mattino credits a tactical switch for the win, Corriere dello Sport toasts a Noa Lang and David Neres revival, and Sky Sport's pundits debate De Bruyne's penalty and performance.

La Gazzetta dello Sport leads its moviola (the TV review of refereeing calls) with the game's key moment: the penalty awarded to Napoli, which the VAR then sent back for Frosinone goalkeeper Palmisani to retake after he moved early off his line. The paper's verdict: "very generous, but right to make him retake it" — separating the award itself from the fairness of the retake.
Two voices from Sky Sport weigh in on the same moment. Fabio Borghi focuses on the decision to hand the ball to De Bruyne:

"Pass the penalty to De Bruyne? You can read it three ways, but Allegri was clear."
Paolo Condò goes further, asking whether Saturday's was the Belgian's best performance in a Napoli shirt, and pointing back to one of his Champions League displays for comparison.
Il Mattino's headline, "Starting From Three! The Formation Change Was Decisive," ties the win to Allegri's tactical switch, without detailing the shape he used.
Corriere dello Sport looks instead at individual growth, writing of an "Allegri cure" reviving Noa Lang and David Neres.
In its player ratings, Tuttosport gives Politano a 6 for his contribution in the closing stages of Napoli-Frosinone.
Away from Napoli's pages, Corriere dello Sport covers Lazio's climb under Gattuso, under the headline "Gone Clear at the Top."
Our verdict
We share the Gazzetta's reading of the penalty: generous in the award, correct to send it back for a retake. We're less convinced by Corriere's enthusiasm for a Neres revival — he didn't play a single minute against Frosinone, left out despite being in contention the day before. It's too soon to write about a "cure" that hasn't shown up on the pitch.
Il Mattino credits the win to the change of formation, but none of Monday's papers mention that Inter and Lazio are both on 16 points. A clean 3-0 is welcome, but Napoli stay eighth, and six matchdays are not enough for final verdicts.
