Pio Esposito surprises young players at Castellammare academy
The Inter striker stopped by Club Napoli Varano, the youth academy where he grew up, before heading back to Appiano Gentile.

Pio Esposito used the break between Italy national team duty and the resumption of training with Inter to return to his home town of Castellammare di Stabia. Before heading back to Appiano Gentile, the striker stopped at Club Napoli Varano, the football school (youth academy) where he took his first steps as a boy.
Esposito toured the facility, posed for photos and signed autographs for the kids, and chatted with them, delighting the young players and the parents who were there. A return to the roots on the same pitch where a generation of local talent has grown up, before the centre-forward goes back to preparing for Inter's return to league action.
