Lang has already been in the headlines this month. He was at the centre of a tense training-ground incident at Castel Volturno, Napoli's training ground, days ago, which brought a punishment considered severe; before that, his second-half introduction in Napoli-Bologna had been praised by DAZN's commentators. His spell at Napoli has been uneven rather than consistent.

The comparison lands at a time when Napoli's whole attack is under scrutiny.
