Napoli's training report omits any mention of Anguissa

A day after confirming Frank Anguissa was undergoing therapy for a thigh injury, the club's latest bulletin from Castel Volturno says nothing about him at all.

Napoli's official report on Thursday 24 September's session at Castel Volturno does not contain a single line on Frank Anguissa. No detail on work done on the pitch or in the gym, no update on his progress: the Cameroon midfielder simply does not appear in the club's note.

The silence is notable because it comes a day after Napoli had specified that Anguissa was following a course of therapy for a low-grade myofascial injury to the adductor longus in his right thigh, picked up in the closing stages of Fiorentina-Napoli on 20 September and confirmed by scans at the Pineta Grande Hospital. Thursday's report focuses instead on McTominay, without a word on the treatment room: Marianucci, Alisson Santos, Meret and Spinazzola — who worked only in the gym on Wednesday — are also left without updates.

The question is his availability for Napoli-Frosinone on 10 October, the match that reopens the league season after the international break. Without a clear bulletin, the uncertainty over Anguissa remains unresolved.
