Repice warns Napoli not to fall into Vanoli's trap at Fiorentina
The Radio Napoli Centrale commentator defends Massimiliano Allegri's start but warns that Fiorentina will sit deep at the Franchi, where patience will be needed to avoid self-inflicted damage.

Francesco Repice, speaking on Radio Napoli Centrale's 'Sempre Con Te' programme, has warned Massimiliano Allegri over Sunday's trip to Fiorentina. He does not expect Paolo Vanoli's side to attack Napoli, predicting a low block and quick counters instead: "A great team has to know how to break down a low block. Fall into that trap and it ends badly."
Against a side that shuts up shop, Repice said Napoli will need patience, tight passing and the ability to go vertical to the striker to break Fiorentina's lines, rather than getting tangled up against a team that will concede very little.

On Allegri's start, in an adaptation phase after recent tactical changes, Repice remained confident: "There's a different way of being on the pitch. It takes time to take in the new coach's ways of working. Behind the changes there are relational issues too." He added: "I think Allegri always sorts things out." Napoli, 10th on 6 points, travel to the Franchi on Sunday 20 September at 12:30 CET for matchday 5 of Serie A.
