Allegri: Alisson Santos out injured for some time
After the Arsenal defeat, the head coach confirmed a fresh fitness blow, raised doubt over Meret for Sunday's Bologna game, and explained why Lang was left out.
Massimiliano Allegri confirmed after the Arsenal defeat that Alisson Santos will be sidelined. "Alisson Santos, I think we've lost him for a while," he said, adding that "we'll struggle to see him again before the break."
Meret's fitness is also in question three days before Napoli host Bologna at the Maradona on Sunday. "We're assessing Meret. We hope not. We'll see tomorrow," Allegri said, referring to Friday 11 September.
Allegri also explained why Lang was left out of the squad against Arsenal. "The Lang situation is simple: this morning he had behaviour that wasn't suitable for playing in the match," he said, without giving further details.
