Allegri revealed it after the final whistle at the Franchi, without giving a recovery timeline.
The head coach made no secret of his frustration with the draw, which leaves Napoli ninth on 7 points. "If today we leave the pitch happy with a draw, that's not good. Today we need to be very angry," Allegri said. "We came up against a good Fiorentina, but we had plenty of chances. The seven points we have are not many. We could have done more, and it's not enough to climb the table. We need to improve and everyone needs to give a bit more after the break. Starting with me."
After the international break, Napoli will have McTominay back following his cardiac ablation operation, while Beukema and Badiashile continue working to regain fitness. The next league fixture is set for 10 October, against Frosinone at the Maradona.
