Lobotka contract talks stall as Napoli hold 2028 option

Lobotka's contract talks with Napoli have not moved. His current deal expires on 30 June 2027, and there is no sign of progress on a voluntary extension: the midfielder's agents were seen in Naples in recent days, but nothing concrete has come of it. Napoli are covered by an automatic renewal option for a further season, the same clause already used with Anguissa, and the club will exercise it, extending his contract to June 2028 and ruling out a free departure.

At 32, Lobotka shows no sign of wanting to commit beyond the terms already in place, and Napoli president De Laurentiis is in no rush to force the issue. The unilateral option turns what would elsewhere be a transfer saga into a situation the club can manage at its own pace.
