Napoli and Como both track Rennes playmaker Szymanski

Sebastian Szymanski has emerged as Napoli's new target for the attacking midfield role, with an eye on the January window, which opens on 2 January and closes on 2 February 2027. Como are on the same trail, eyeing the 27-year-old as a possible replacement for Nico Paz should he leave.

Rennes have no intention of selling cheap: Szymanski is under contract until 2029, and their asking price starts at €20m, on top of a summer window Napoli already closed around €47.5m in the red. Premier League and Liga clubs are also said to be circling, so competition is heavy and Napoli have until February to make their move.
