Napoli will play Avellino on Saturday 26 September at the Partenio-Adriano Lombardi, the first of two friendlies scheduled during the international break, which halts Serie A for two consecutive weekends.

The test comes six days after the 1-1 draw in Florence, which left Napoli ninth with 7 points from 5 games. With around ten internationals away on duty, Allegri will use the game against Avellino, who play in Serie B, to work on automatisms with the players who stay behind at Castel Volturno. Physical condition and tactical solidity remain the open issues after the start of the season.
