Napoli's Primavera lose 3-2 to Catanzaro, still on zero points
Antonio Nocerino's side blew a 3-0 first-half deficit into a battle but fell to a third straight defeat at the Piccolo di Cercola.

Napoli's Primavera lost 3-2 to Catanzaro at the Piccolo di Cercola, a third straight defeat after two league losses and a Youth League defeat. The result leaves Antonio Nocerino's side bottom of the Primavera 2 group, still without a point this season.
Catanzaro dominated the first half: Pellegrini opened the scoring in the 9th minute, Gjoka doubled the lead in the 26th, and Greco made it 3-0 in the 47th minute, right at the start of the second half. Napoli fought back through Pereyra, who pulled one back in the 59th minute, and Manè, who made it 3-2 in the 76th minute, but Catanzaro held on for the win.

The comeback showed character but yielded no points, with the first-half errors outweighing the second-half response. Nocerino's side, also fresh off a Youth League defeat to Arsenal, remain bottom of the table and will look to climb out of it from the next round.
