Pedraza own goal earns Napoli a 1-1 draw with leaders Lazio
Frattesi put Lazio ahead before a substitute turned the ball into his own net two minutes after coming on. Napoli have not scored or won in three matches.

Napoli's equaliser against Lazio came from Pedraza, a Lazio player. He came on at the start of the second half and turned the ball into his own net in the 48th minute, two minutes after stepping onto the pitch.
That is where any assessment has to start. Lazio are top of the league, and this was Allegri's first game back on the bench after his suspension. No Napoli player scored. Napoli got the point, but Lazio scored both goals.

One moment settles the first half
The first half turned on a single incident. In the 28th minute Noslin set up Frattesi, who put Lazio ahead. Napoli went in at the break a goal down at home to the league leaders. In the first half hour, only Lazio found the net.
The substitution that mattered most
The key change came straight after the break. Pedraza replaced Tavares in the 46th minute, and by the 48th his own goal had made it 1-1.
After that the match stayed level, and so did the numbers: 15 shots each, six on target for each side and possession split almost evenly, 49% to 51%. Meret made five saves and the Lazio goalkeeper made six. Neither side managed to take control. Gilmour and Vergara were booked between the 65th and 66th minutes.
Allegri began making changes in the 69th minute. He then replaced Højlund with Lucca in the 74th and De Bruyne with Giovane in the 83rd. None of it changed the score. For Lazio, Gattuso took off Frattesi, the scorer, in the 78th minute, and Pedraza was booked in the same minute.
A point that answers nothing
Supporters will not hold a draw against the league leaders against the team. But this result has to be read alongside the others. It is a third game in a row without a win, after defeats to Juventus and away at Porto. Napoli are tenth with 15 points from 11 matches, 14 behind Lazio.
The point came from an opposition own goal, not from anything the team created, and every question about Allegri is still open. Torino visit the Maradona on Saturday 21 November. With the table looking like this, anything other than a win will not do.
