Porto's Sainz promises fans something to cheer against Napoli
Porto have won all ten league games but none of their three in the Champions League. Borja Sainz admits Europe has not gone to plan.
Porto host Napoli at the Dragão on Wednesday 4 November full of confidence. Borja Sainz scored in the 64th minute of the 4-0 win over Estoril on Sunday 1 November. Afterwards he said: "We are working very well, you can see it in the table." Porto have 30 points from ten wins in ten league games, eight more than Benfica. In Europe, Farioli's side have lost all three.
Sainz accepted that. "In the Champions League things haven't gone quite as we hoped, but we were once again an aggressive team, determined to score more and more goals," he said. "I hope that on Wednesday in the Champions League we can give our fans something to cheer about." He added: "We are doing everything possible to win points and we believe we can get them."
