Spalletti calls Napoli reunion '1000×1000' as pressure on him grows
The Juventus head coach won the scudetto (the Serie A title) with Napoli. He goes into Sunday's game at the Allianz Stadium after a 2-0 setback in Genoa, with both sides on 14 points.
Spalletti says facing Napoli will be deeply emotional. "I will experience it with great emotion and a great sense of humanity, of beauty and strong feeling towards a place and a city to which I owe so much: it is impossible not to love the city when you are inside it, especially when you manage to win a league title there," he said before Juventus-Napoli. He ended with a number: "The emotion will be 1000×1000."
"The emotion will be 1000×1000."
His words come at the worst point of his time at Juventus. The 2-0 in Genoa was one more setback in a difficult start and put him under fire from critics. On his orders, the squad will go into a closed training camp at the Continassa (Juventus's training base) from the evening of Friday 30 October until the match.

We return the affection, but it must not distract us. After the 1-4 at Monza, a Juventus shut away in camp with their coach on trial is the most awkward opponent we could have drawn. Landucci will again be on our bench because Allegri is suspended, and Lobotka is a doubt.
At 20:45 CET (19:45 UK, 14:45 ET) on Sunday 1 November, Spalletti's scudetto will be only a memory. What matters is the gap to fourth-placed Como, which stood at six points on Thursday 29 October.
