Spinazzola: I stayed at Napoli to relive the Scudetto
The full-back turned down interest from other clubs in the summer window, telling Radio Kiss Kiss why he chose to stay.
Leonardo Spinazzola has explained why he stayed at Napoli despite interest from other clubs in the summer window. "I wanted to stay here also to try to relive days like the Scudetto celebration: that day on the bus, who could forget it," he told Radio Kiss Kiss.
Napoli sit ninth with 7 points from 5 games, a year on from fighting for the title. "If last year we could win something, after two months everything has changed, but the players are the same, we just need to find ourselves again," Spinazzola said.

On working under Allegri, whom he first knew at Juventus, Spinazzola sees little change in the man-management but more in the approach on the pitch: "In terms of management I don't think anything's changed, it's been like this since Juve. I see a lot more intensity. He's also a coach who gives us a lot of responsibility, and personally I like that a lot." He added that he feels more comfortable in a back four, where he can better judge when to push forward.
