Allegri rages at half-time: 'You are not a team yet'
The head coach raised his voice with the squad at the break in Napoli-Bologna, before a second half that produced Lobotka's winner. Fiorentina, on Sunday at the Franchi, will show whether the message landed.

Allegri's shouting in the Maradona dressing room broke out at half-time of Napoli-Bologna, not after the final whistle. The head coach accused the group of "not being a team yet" and of lacking "the right mentality", demanding an immediate change with no filter.

The outburst follows a run of matches in which, on this reading, Napoli kept repeating the same mistakes — Allegri chose the shock treatment over soft management. In the second half Napoli did change gear, closing out a 1-0 win through Lobotka, set up by Favasuli, who had come on for Politano at the break.

The shouting may have shaken the dressing room for ninety minutes, or for the whole season. Fiorentina, away at the Franchi on Sunday, will tell us which.
