The timing matters: his contract talks have been stalled since 1 October, with the club valuing him at €70m and the player reportedly asking around €9m a season, while Real Madrid have already made contact with his entourage. Napoli travel to face Villarreal in the Champions League on Tuesday 13 October, looking to bounce back from their opening defeat to Arsenal, with Anguissa still out as he recovers from an adductor injury.
