Roma, Lazio and Como face tricky Serie A round four tests

Lazio moved level with Roma and Inter at the top after beating Udinese, while Napoli's Sunday opponents Bologna arrive at the Maradona with just one point from three games.

Round three shook up both ends of Serie A's table. Lazio won 1-2 away at Udinese to draw level with Roma and Inter at the top on 9 points. Further down, Cagliari beat Lecce 1-0 at home, a result that matters for the sides chasing at the foot of the group.

Round four turns straight back to the teams at the top. League leaders Roma travel to Torino, who sit on just 3 points — the same as Napoli. The opening three rounds have already shown that a low points total guarantees nothing, in either direction.

Lazio host Milan, fifth on 7 points, at home. Win, and Lazio pull clear of their closest challengers; lose, and their push for the top gets complicated fast.

Como, also on 7 points, host Parma, who have taken just 1 point from three games and remain in the bottom half. It's a chance to pull away, though three rounds are still too few to say how good either side really is.

Elsewhere, Atalanta host Cagliari, fresh from their win over Lecce, while Sassuolo and Juventus meet with 3 points between them. Friday 11 September's fixture opens with Venezia against Fiorentina, a direct clash between two of the three sides still on zero points; on Saturday 12 September, the third, Genoa, host Frosinone, seventh on 6 points.

For Napoli, twelfth on 3 points, the round also sets up the opponent they face on Sunday 13 September: Bologna arrive at the Maradona fifteenth in the table, with just 1 point from their first three games.
