Sandro Mazzola dies aged 83, Napoli pay tribute
The Inter and Italy great died in Milan. Napoli sent condolences to his family.
Napoli have paid tribute to Sandro Mazzola, the Inter and Italy great, who died in Milan on Sunday 20 September at the age of 83.
"President Aurelio De Laurentiis, coach Allegri, the club's management and all of Ssc Napoli express their deep sorrow at the passing of Sandro Mazzola, a legend of Inter and an unforgettable symbol of Italian football. The whole Napoli club sends its most sincere closeness to his family," the club said in a statement on its official website.
