Favasuli: 'Napoli is my dream, I learn from Allegri every day'

The former Catanzaro winger spoke from Italy's Under-21 camp about his Serie A debut, his trust in the head coach, and Napoli's return after the international break.

Costantino Favasuli, on international duty with Baldini's Under-21 side ahead of qualifiers against Armenia (1 October, in Yerevan) and Poland (5 October, in Pescara), spoke to Coverciano's media about his move to Napoli. "Napoli is a dream come true, but for me it's only the start," he said. "I work every day to improve and to be ready whenever I'm called upon."

Favasuli made his Serie A debut with the assist for Lobotka's goal in the 1-0 win over Bologna on 13 September. He praised head coach Allegri: "He's a winning coach, with an incredible mentality. There's only things to learn from him every single day, tactically and in terms of character."

Looking ahead to the restart after the break, Favasuli said: "After the break we've got a crucial run of games ahead of us. We're working well and we want to be ready to get off to the right start again." Napoli, ninth with 7 points after five rounds, return to action on 10 October at the Maradona against Frosinone.
