Roma's Mancini mocks Allegri's thrown jacket after 3-3 at the Maradona
Allegri stormed out after being sent off, and Mancini copied him from the Roma bench. The video has gone viral and split supporters.
Allegri was sent off for protesting to the fourth official after Balerdi's second goal in the 3-3 draw. He took off his jacket, threw it away and left the Maradona. On the Roma bench, Mancini, who had been called back by Gasperini, raised his arm to tell the coach to leave, then mimed the jacket throw, laughing. The video went viral and has sparked debate among supporters.
The mockery is rude. Taunting an opponent who is leaving the pitch after a sending-off is not good football. But the scene comes from a game Napoli had in hand: McTominay scored twice and the team led by two goals, then let it slip. Allegri's gesture and Mancini's reply tell the same story of the ending: we leave angry, they leave with a point more.

Napoli are 9th with 11 points, seven behind Roma on 18. The next match is close: Monza away at the U-Power Stadium on Wednesday 28 October, kick-off 20:45 CET (19:45 UK, 14:45 ET). That game will not need flying jackets. It will need a team that knows how to close out a match.
