De Laurentiis misses Juventus and Porto trips but tells squad 'I believe in you'
The Napoli president is staying in Geneva after talks with the Aponte family. He will next travel with the team for the away game at Manchester City.
Aurelio De Laurentiis will not be at the Allianz Stadium for Juventus v Napoli on Sunday 1 November, kick-off 20:45 CET (19:45 UK, 14:45 ET). The president is still in Geneva, where he met the Aponte family on Tuesday, and will not travel to Turin. He will also miss the Champions League game in Porto at 21:00 CET on Wednesday 4 November. That makes two away games in a row without him. He will next follow the team for the away game at Manchester City. More than 2,000 Napoli supporters are expected in Turin.
He has left Allegri and the players three words: "I believe in you." They went down very well across the club. They also fit a line De Laurentiis has never changed: he backs the Tuscan coach. Allegri is suspended for the Juventus game, so Landucci takes his place on the bench.

"I believe in you"
The fanbase does not share the president's faith. Supporters accuse Allegri of repetitive, overly defensive football. Juventus and Napoli both start the evening on 14 points, eighth and seventh respectively. Three words sent from a distance count for little if the results on the pitch do not back them up.
