ARENA RETEIT

Cookie policy

Arena Rete sets no profiling cookies without your consent, and sells your behaviour to nobody.

Strictly necessary cookies

The only ones we cannot do without: they hold the session and your display preferences. They need no consent and cannot identify a person.

Measurement

We count visits with a tool of our own, in aggregate: it uses no cookies and calls no outside service. It keeps a single item in your browser, described below.

ar_vid (local storage, not a cookie): a random identifier we create on your first visit, used only to count how many readers come back and how often. It is first-party, never used for advertising, never handed to anyone and never matched with other sites. It is not renewed on each visit: it expires 13 months after it was created. Our server keeps only a one-way hash of it, never the identifier itself. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, it is not created.

Google Analytics, only if you say yes

Since 10 September 2026 we also use Google Analytics, which sets Google cookies. It does not start on its own: the first time you open the site a question appears, and the script is loaded only if you answer «yes». If you say no, or ignore the question, Google Analytics is never installed and the site works exactly the same. Your answer stays in your browser and is sent to nobody.

To change your mind, clear the site data in your browser settings: the question will come back.

The Meta pixel, only on the adverts page and only if you say yes

Since 13 September 2026, on the single page arenarete.com/segui — the one our Facebook and Instagram adverts lead to — we ask whether we may use the Meta pixel alongside Google Analytics. The pixel sets Meta cookies and tells us whether the adverts work: how many people arrive from one and how many turn on notifications. If you answer «yes», the Meta script is loaded and, when you turn notifications on, we also report the subscription to Meta from our own server, with the IP address, the browser and the reference to the advert click. If you say no, or ignore the question, we load nothing and send nothing to Meta: the page and the notifications work exactly the same. On every other page of the site the pixel is not there.

Third-party resources

Some images — the club badges and the video thumbnails — come from the servers of whoever provides them. In loading them, those servers see the visitor's IP address. We do not set cookies on their behalf.

How to manage them

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies from its privacy settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop parts of the site working properly.
